Gord and his team have done excellent work for us over the past 5 years. They are very responsive, professional and easy to work with. Gord is very honest, and provided accurate quotes and timelines. He did a fantastic job siding a large garage, and was extremely responsive when we called him for help to redo one side shortly after, when someone had driven into it. He was a life saver. Always very pleasant and accommodating, and willing to do whatever he can to help get the project done, and done well. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his team for any project. Reliable, honest and high quality workmanship! Thanks for all your help Gord! It’s always a pleasure working with you.

During the spring/summer of 2020 we had Baerg Exteriors do a major renovation to our home. We had flooding in our basement twice and when Gord inspected the siding he could tell how water was getting in. We had them replace the siding , soffit, facia, trough, and downspouts. They also renovated the garage door opening, replaced the deck and closed in underneath the deck. They also replaced 5 windows and 4 of the 5 were very large. It is hard to explain what an exceptional job Gord and his team did. The whole process from quoting to completion was seamless. The quality was exceptional and I would highly recommend Baerg Exteriors. Thanks Gord for all you have done for us!

We were impressed with their attention to detail and pride in conducting the work to a high standard. Gord kept us informed throughout the process and the project was completed on time and on budget. A review from Terry Roth
A Review of the Siding Replacement Project contracted to Baerg Exteriors.
SPRING 2019

I can’t recall exactly how I managed to find the contact info for Baerg Exteriors, essentially Gord’s phone number, but I’m thankful that I did.

*	I explained the re-siding project I had in mind and Gord gave me phone numbers and addresses where I might check out residential siding work he had recently completed.
*	I contacted and visited 3 homes and the residents of all 3 gave me glowing reports: they were pleased to show me the quality of the work done, answer questions and describe the clearly outlined project, and meticulous craftsmanship that was evident.

*	Gord outlined, described in detail our project, and costed it out, approximate time-frame, as he envisioned it: replacement of old siding and installation of Hardieboard siding.
*	With Gord’s patient assistance and experience we made choices of colours and sizes of Hardieboard that we are still pleased with.
*	From day one of the project Gord’s consistent high-standard of workmanship and attention to details was clearly demonstrated, and it was obvious that he demanded the same level of work from his crew.
*	When Gord discovered rotting substructure boards, he advised and undertook to replace those before proceeding with installation of the new Hardieboard exterior. Gord always emphasized the importance of the integrity of the ‘envelope’ that must be in place before the exterior siding was installed. (Gord demonstrated this same principle when working around windows and installing front and back doors.)
*	Gord gives you the confidence that everything will be done right!

*	It will soon be seven years now since completion of this project and our home shows no signs of aging. The Hardieboard siding, recommended and installed meticulously by Gord and crew still looks great!

*	Without reservation I am pleased to recommend Gord Baerg and Baerg Exteriors (as I have been doing all these years by word-of-mouth) for anyone considering a re-siding, or new-home installation.

*	Clear communication - Meticulous craftsmanship - Attention to detail - A job well done

We had Gord and his crew install new outside insulation and new hardie board siding on our house. We are so glad we chose Gord from the three different contractors that we received quotes from. After speaking with him we knew that he would meet my husband’s strict requirements for quality. Gord was always prompt with communications and responses. His crew was awesome too! We are very satisfied with the final results and we have since had him install new patio stairs as well. We’re also hoping he will have time to take on our future small projects. We highly recommend this trustworthy contractor!

We discovered Gord back in 2009 doing siding for a neighbor. At that time we renovated our bathroom and removed the window so we needed to fill in the window opening outside. Gord came by and had a look and was able to fill in the space with cedar siding. He did such an amazing job it’s hard to tell where the window was.
In 2025 we decided to have the front of house and garage refaced with hardy board to protect it from years of the elements beating on it.
Gord came by with samples and colors to choose from and gave us a fair quote. Gord’s crew did an amazing job. They even left us the remaining paint used for touch ups. Since it was a full gallon for expensive paint we continued that color on our fence and believe it or not our PVC garden shed. The paint held up perfectly so far.
We have had so many compliments on the house. The painter that painted the rest of our house complimented the caulking job done on the hardy board trim.
Gord and his staff take such pride in their work. This is a rare trait in today’s world.
We highly recommend them high standards and quality workmanship.

Baerg Exteriors transformed our home!
Gord was easy to talk to and informative right off the bat. We were using the CEIP Program and the Greener Homes grant. It was new to them at the time and we worked through the details together. I had good vibes from him right away!
He was honest and upfront about everything. His quote was accurate.
When the work started, we didn't know quite what to expect. We had heard horror stories from friends about other contractors, starting a job, and then it sitting for weeks or months before they would come back to finish it. Gord and his crew were amazing! From the day they started, they were there EVERY SINGLE DAY working until the job was done! They were respectful of our home. They were polite when we chatted with them. My husband and I were so impressed! They even played with our pups when they were in the yard periodically. I cant say enough good things about Gord and his team. I would confidently recommend to anyone this great team. Thank you all for the work you did. I still come home some days and admire my home and what you were able to do with it!
